Rewire Your Movement
One-to-one Feldenkrais sessions in Central London
Feldenkrais is a hands-on approach to moving and living with greater awareness and ease. In a session, gentle guidance through touch and verbal cues helps you notice patterns of movement and tension — often ones you weren’t even aware of.
Once these patterns come into awareness, they can begin to shift, creating new ways of moving and being that feel easier, lighter, and more natural.
Many people carry habits that show up as chronic pain, stress, shallow breathing, or tension. Feldenkrais helps you explore new movement options, gently shifting these patterns so you can experience greater ease, resilience, and a deeper sense of embodiment.
Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more effort — but a different way of listening.

Getting started

First Session
Tailored Session Series
The initial 20-minute consultation is free and available over the phone for your convenience. We’ll cover any relevant medical or personal history and discuss what the Feldenkrais Method can do for your specific situation and goals.
The first session includes an in-person assessment, and a mix of hands-on work and tailored movement sequences for you to take home. Some people feel profoundly different after their very first session, whereas others experience a gradual change.
Most clients continue with a series of 3–8 follow-up sessions. Multiple sessions support deeper learning and long-term change at a lower per-session rate. Over time, you’ll learn to integrate these changes into daily life, becoming more and more self-sufficient.
About me
Benjamin Black, authorised Feldenkrais Practitioner
My journey with the Feldenkrais Method began 20 years ago, as a teenager dealing with chronic pain and injury. After several years working as a musician, I trained as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. I now combine my professional training with lived experience to support others on their path to healing and learning.
I know first-hand what it’s like to live with pain, burnout, and injury, and how deeply it affects life. This allows me to meet people with empathy, offering a holistic and practical approach to the challenges people face.
After running a busy practice in Stockholm, I moved to London in 2025. I have served three years as vice-chairman of the Swedish Feldenkrais Guild and co-founded Studio Soma, an online somatic platform connecting a global community of learners.
I now offer individual sessions and workshops in a spacious studio five minutes from London Bridge station, in Central London.
