Reclaim Your Sense of Ease

One-to-one Feldenkrais sessions in Central London

Feldenkrais provides a practical and supportive approach that allows you to become aware of patterns of tension and effort that contribute to pain, stress, stiffness, fatigue, and restricted breathing.

Many of these patterns become so familiar over time that they no longer feel changeable - they simply feel like “how your body is.”

Through touch, guided movement, and awareness, sessions help your system discover more comfortable and efficient ways of moving, breathing, and responding to daily life.

Feldenkrais can help if you:

  • live with persistent tension, stiffness, or pain

  • feel physically or mentally exhausted from stress or burnout

  • notice shallow breathing or constant muscular effort

  • feel your body rarely fully relaxes

  • are recovering from injury or long-term strain

  • work in a demanding or high-pressure environment

  • are a dancer, musician, performer, or movement practitioner

  • want daily life to feel more comfortable and less effortful

Getting started

Free Consultation

First Session

Tailored Session Series

The initial 20-minute consultation is free and available over the phone. We’ll cover any relevant medical or personal history and discuss what the Feldenkrais Method can do for your specific situation and goals.

Your first session includes an in-person assessment, along with hands-on work and tailored movement sequences to explore at home. Many people notice immediate changes in pain, tension, breathing, or mobility after their first session, while for others the process unfolds more gradually.

Most clients continue with a series of 3–8 follow-up sessions. Multiple sessions support deeper learning and long-term change at a lower per-session rate. Over time, you’ll learn to integrate these changes into daily life, becoming more and more self-sufficient.

About me

Benjamin Black, authorised Feldenkrais Practitioner

My journey with the Feldenkrais Method began 20 years ago, as a teenager dealing with chronic pain and injury. After several years working as a musician, I trained as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. I now combine my professional training with lived experience to help people recover from pain, burnout, injury, and shift long-standing patterns of tension.

I know first-hand what it’s like to live with pain, burnout, and injury, and how deeply it affects life. This allows me to meet people with empathy, offering a holistic and practical approach to the challenges people face.

After running a busy practice in Stockholm, I moved to London in 2025. I have served three years as vice-chairman of the Swedish Feldenkrais Guild and co-founded Studio Soma, an online somatic platform connecting a global community of learners.

I now offer individual sessions and workshops in a spacious studio five minutes from London Bridge station, in Central London.

Rediscover Ease in Daily Life

The Feldenkrais Method is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps you reduce chronic pain, tension, and the constant effort many people carry in their body. Sessions support recovery from injury, stress, and burnout by helping your nervous system find more efficient and comfortable ways of organising movement.

Over time, you begin to notice changes in how you sit, stand, breathe, and move through daily life — with less stiffness, less strain, and a growing sense of ease and control in what once felt effortful.
